EFFUSIA SERVER FOR LINUX RELEASED
Liquid Communication Systems, LLC released the Linux version of their Effusia Business Messenger instant messaging and presence server on Monday, August 12. Effusia, the company’s first product, is a centrally managed instant messaging and presence communication tool for small to medium enterprises.
The Linux version of the Effusia Server brings the ease of deployment and administration of the Effusia Business Messenger platform to Linux. It maintains all of the functionality of the Windows? version of the Effusia Server and compatibility with the Windows? versions of the Effusia Admin Tool and the Effusia Console. The Linux version provides simple command line installation and automatic daemon setup.
Effusia Business Messenger provides managed presence-enhanced communication for small to medium enterprises. It is a centrally administered internal communication system designed for deployment on company LANs. Effusia features communication tools including instant messaging conversations, meetings, file transfers, broadcast MemoMessages, and offline messaging.
